    Our Policies


    If you have any questions at all about any of our policies or procedures please do not hesitate to ask. We will bend over backwards to help you out. Like all relationships, we feel that shopping with us should be as personal as possible, and a relationship of trust should be built around that experience.


    Our Products


    We carry both antique originals and authentic museum quality reproductions of fine period pieces from the Qing Dynasty through present age in our stores. If the item is an authentic period piece from the Qing Dynasty we will have papers to back that up and will price the item accordingly. Common sense will tell you that if you find an antique snuff bottle on our site, or anywhere else, for less than than several hundred to a thousand or more US Dollars, it is probably a reproduction and not an original. We will not mislead you to believe you are paying US$ 30.00 for a US$2,000 item. We want you to trust in our word that what you are told is really what you are getting. If you have any questions about any of our products please ask us before making your purchase.


    Our products are all hand crafted and finished by Chinese and Asian artists. Some will engrave their name right into the item they made. Each item is unique, no two will be exactly alike. Therefore you will not find another item exactly like yours in somebody else's collection. When you receive your item it will be slightly different than the item in the photograph in the catalog. This is due to individual styles from one artist to the next, or differences in pigments used from one day to the next in the shop that made the item. Unlike buying souvenirs at a famous theme park, the emphasis in quality control with our artists is in the final artistry of the item, and not in carbon copy duplicity.


    Our Guarantee


    You must be completely satisfied with any of our products, or return the product in re-saleable condition for a full refund of the purchase price (shipping NOT included). Regardless of the reason we will substitute another product or refund your purchase price. All claims for replacements and/or refunds must be made within 7 days of receipt of said product.


    Damage and/or breakage:

    We are not responsible for damage caused by the postal services or private delivery services in any country once the package leaves our hands. We go to great lengths to pack each item to survive even the roughest trip around the world. If there is any concern about breakage to an item we will be glad to arrange to have the item insured before it leaves Hong Kong or Florida. If you feel that an item was damaged due to poor packaging we will be glad to inspect photographs of the damaged item and discuss it with you so that it can be resolved to your satisfaction.


    Loss of any item shipped to/from Overseas:

    Small items are shipped Air Mail for International delivery and normally the post office in Hong Kong does not give a receipt. We can request that the item be sent Air Mail Registered and a receipt is provided so you can track your package. Larger orders are sent Air Parcel and a US Customs receipt is always given (if the parcel is headed for the USA). To date (knock on wood) we have never lost a parcel. However, if there is any concern please request we send it registered (there is a small charge). Larger parcels are automatically sent Air parcel so we always have a receipt.



    We reserve the right to substitute an item of greater value for any item ordered which we cannot deliver due to damage discovered during packaging for shipment. We will not knowingly ship damaged goods but will select a replacement item or items similar to and of greater value than the item which was damaged prior to shipment. If you are not satisfied with the substitution you may return it for a full refund including all the shipping costs both ways. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.


    Order Completion


    All orders must be confirmed by email or fax within 5 days of the day the electronic notification is emailed to you. Payment for all orders must be completed within 10 days of said notification date. You will be sent all the banking information you need to complete payment with your order notification. If you are experiencing a problem and need to extend the payment deadline please let us know, we will do everything within reason to accommodate you.

    If payments are not made on time, and no other arrangements are made prior to that time, the order will be canceled. If the item is still available at a later date you may try to purchase it again.

    With the exception of holidays we will ship your package to you within 24 hours to 10 days of receipt of funds. We make buying trips to China once a week and can usually fill out of stock items during that trip. If an item will be back ordered longer than 10 days, we will advise you and ask you if you wish to wait or receive a refund. There are over 5,000 different items in the warehouse so back orders are few. We will be glad to rush processing and filling your order at your request, and at no additional charge. Just ask.


    All our parcels are carefully wrapped to prevent breakage or damage. Because an extraordinary amount of care is taken to pack each item for shipment we have a flat US$5.00 charge PER ORDER for packaging and handling (covers the cost of the box, packing materials, wrapping paper, labels and personnel to pack and physically take the order to the post office for mailing). Actual Mailing Costs will be added to the packing and handling fee. We make every attempt to keep the cost as low as possible. Because of our already very low prices we cannot absorb these out of pocket costs to get the item safely to your door in the fastest way possible. If you are able, please group all your purchases into one order so that only one Packaging Charge will apply. If you are particularly concerned about damage in overseas shipping we can arrange to have the parcel insured. Overseas shipping doesn't have to be scary if it is packed right ;-).


    All our parcels sent from Hong Kong are normally sent Air mail or Air parcel. Delivery times to the USA is about the same for all the States : 7-10 business days from the time it leaves Hong Kong. The cost is the same for all 50 States. In fact Hong Kong Air Mail rates are pretty close to the same anywhere in the world. We have installed a shipping cost calculator into the stores which will automatically calculate your shipping charges on your total order.


    We now have different warehouses in the United States. Most items will be shipped from our US warehouse for buyers in North America by UPS Ground. This means that you will receive the item within 3-5 days (UPS) from when your order is paid for and processed. Overnight and 2nd day Air is available for an extra charge. You can confidently order during any holiday season and receive fast delivery.
